Adult Christian Formation

St. Michael's Church offers many opportunities for adults to deepen their faith, learn from Scripture, and renew their commitment to the Christian  life.

Here are some of the programs that are offered:

  • Daughters of the King (click here)

  • Small Group Bible Study - these meet in the homes of parishioners and use a variety of methods to study Scripture

  • Women's Tuesday Fellowship - this meets on Tuesdays at noon and follows a variety of Bible Study curricula

  • Men's Wednesday Fellowship - this meets early Wednesday morning to discuss topics relevant to Christian life and to pray together

  • Annual Women's Retreat - this takes place in the spring and invited speakers lead the group for a weekend retreat

  • Wednesday Night Intergenerational Events - members of the parish gather for dinner and a variety of programs once a month

  • Rector's Book Circle - this meets once a month in the morning and evening to discuss a book, both fiction and nonfiction

  • Sunday Morning Adult Education - classes meet from 9:15 - 10:15 a.m.

The Adult Forum is offered during the school year in St. Mary's Hall.  The topics change every 2-3 weeks, and  range from current events, explorations of Biblical themes, faith development, to world religions. This format allows people to come in and out based on their time and interest.  Please see the Adult Education Schedule below.
