Young Families

Young Families Community is a group dedicated to helping families connect with each other for social interaction, spiritual growth and fun.
We meet about once a month in an informal setting. During these gatherings our children are well cared for and entertained. Adults have a
chance to spend time together and enjoy a low key environment to get to know each other better. Past events have included a BBQ, a
St. Patrick's Day international potluck and pizza and beer nights.

Young Families Ice Cream Social following the Second Service
on September 21. Come for fun and fellowship and ICE CREAM!

Parenting with Love and Logic Classes are coming!
On Sunday Mornings, 9:15-10:15 beginning October 5 through November 23St. Mike's is hosting Suzi Rowe
teaching Parenting with Love and Logic. This particular class will emphasize skills for early childhood,
however, the skills learned will apply throughout a child's life. So if you only have older adolescents,
this class will still give you great new skills.

The cost is only $10.00 per family for regulars at St. Mike's. You may invite friends fro only $70.00 per family.
The classes take place during Sunday School time, so you won't need babysitters. We will have the nursery
open and older children are welcome to come to Sunday School so you won't even need to arrange babysitting.
