As we celebrate our 65th Anniversary, St. Michael’s Episcopal Church has never been stronger, because of you! 1957 Liturgy

We will be dusting off the 1928 Prayer Book and 1940 Hymnal to remind some and guide others through the experience of worshiping in 1957 when St. Michael’s Chapel was established in a storefront on Nevada Ave.

Day of Service with Habitat for Humanity

Saturday, october 1 (Various times & Locations)

We have partnered with Habitat for Humanity to give back to our community and we need your help. We have jobs for every age and ability and look forward to you signing up for a volunteer slot. Questions? Contact support@stmikeschurch.com.

Habitat Build Site (20 volunteer slots)
8:30 AM - 12:00 PM or 12:30 PM - 4:00 PM
(Build site volunteers must be 16 or older)

Habitat Restore (40 volunteer slots)
10:00 AM - 2:00 PM or 2:00 - 6:00 PM
(Restore volunteers must be 12 or older w/adult) You will be redirected to Habitat’s website.

Lunch Making (20 volunteer slots)
10:00 - 11:30 AM with delivery
(Great for families and all ages)


Celebration Reception & Special Guests

Join us for a celebratory reception as we honor original Charter Members, Jack & Carolyn Braley and former Clergy Members of St. Michael’s: The Rt. Rev. Wallis Ohl, The Rev. Paul Lautenschlager, The Rev. Edwina Burdekin, & The Rev. Judi Sato. Childcare is available for children 12 and under. Donations will benefit St. Michael’s Legacy & Endowment. Casual Attire. Between the services our special guests will join The Rev. Matt Holcombe for a stroll down memory lane as we hear stories from seasons past.

Join us at 8:00 in-person or 10:30 AM in-person or online for a festive Eucharist as we welcome back clergy who have previously served behind the altar at St. Michael’s.

Food Trucks, Fellowship, & Inflatable Games -11:45 AM (Sunday, Oct. 2)

We will wrap up St. Michael’s Weekend with food, fellowship, and games after the 10:30 AM service. We have several food trucks that will be parked in the north parking lot, a 30 foot inflatable obstacle course, and an inflatable human velcro game. All are welcome and don’t forget to invite a friend. Food for purchase.
