Creative Arts Festival
Sunday, August 18, 9:00 - 10:30 AM & 11:30 AM - 1:00 PM
(After the 8:00 & 10:30 AM Services)
The Creative Arts Festival at St. Michael’s on August 18 will allow you to share your creative endeavors, and how your prayer life, spiritual practices and relationship with God are enriched through these. We hope this will inspire others in the St. Michael’s family to open their lives to a variety of practices to strengthen, broaden and deepen their relationship with God.
If you decide to participate, you will display the fruits of your creative activities on a table and share with those who visit you how they impact and enrich your spiritual life. If you have children who are also creative, they are most welcome to also join you and we would like them to share how God is in their activities as well.
These activities may include but are not be limited to:
Writing-poetry, short stories, journaling, books, calligraphy…
Performing–acting, dancing, presenting poetry…
Music-composition, singing, playing an instrument…
Art-painting, drawing, sculpture, acrylic pouring…
Handwork–leather work, spinning fiber, weaving, sewing, quilting, jewelrymaking, bookbinding, woodworking, making prints, embroidery, flower arranging, basket making, candle making, cooking, working with metal, needlepoint, ceramics, origami… and many other activities that engage your creative imagination.
Please fill out the form below and we will contact you with more information. If you have questions, you may contact Mary Hattick, mhattick@gmail.com.
